Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Web Illustrations, operating as Instant Job Estimator (“we”, “us”). By using this website to get an estimate, book an appointment or pay us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.

Estimates provided by this website are non-binding approximations, calculated from the options and information you enter. They are not a quote, an offer or a guarantee of price. Final pricing is subject to manual inspection and confirmation, and may be higher or lower than the estimate if the job turns out to differ from what you entered.

• Booking an appointment requires a deposit, paid by card on Stripe’s secure checkout page.
• Your appointment is confirmed once the deposit payment goes through.
• Deposits are non-refundable unless we agree otherwise in writing. This is shown before you pay, and you are asked to confirm that you have read and accept these Terms before you can pay.
• We credit your deposit toward the final price of the job.
• Online bookings need at least two hours’ notice, and appointments are offered in the time slots shown. To reschedule or cancel, contact us as soon as possible by email or phone.

• Prices are in US dollars.
• After the work, we may send an invoice through Stripe for the remaining balance. Invoices issued through Stripe are due upon receipt. You can pay using the methods Stripe offers on the invoice.
• Completed service fees are non-refundable unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first so that we can look into it.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under California or other law that cannot be waived or limited, including any statutory right to cancel or to a refund.

Please give accurate contact details and job information, and tell us about anything that could affect the work (for example access, hazards or pets). We rely on this information to reach you and to prepare your estimate.

Use the site only for its intended purpose. Don’t misuse it, interfere with how it works, try to access areas meant for staff, scrape it or use automated tools on it, use it for anything unlawful, or submit false or misleading information.

The website, its design, software and content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a limited, revocable permission to use the site for its intended purpose. Don’t copy, modify or reuse it except as the law allows.

Payments are handled by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy. The website also runs on third-party services such as hosting and database providers. We aren’t responsible for outages or failures of services we don’t control, but we will do what we reasonably can to fix any problem that affects your booking.

To the fullest extent the law allows, this website is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the website will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that the estimates or other information on it are accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or loss of use, arising out of or relating to the website, your booking or the services; and
• our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the website, your booking or the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the booking or service that the claim relates to.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct or gross negligence, and they do not affect your statutory rights. Some places do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so some of this may not apply to you.

To the extent the law allows, you agree to reimburse us for losses, damages and reasonable costs we suffer because of false information you give us, your misuse of the website or your breach of these Terms.

We aren’t responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, utility or internet outages, or the failure of a third-party service. If that affects your appointment, we’ll contact you to reschedule.

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the website or the services, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

If you have a problem, please contact us first (details below) and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. If we can’t, either of us may bring the claim in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts, to the extent the law allows. Either of us may instead bring an eligible claim in small claims court. Nothing in this section waives any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived, including any right to bring a claim where the law requires it to be brought.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its date, is the one that applies when you use the site. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. A change does not affect a booking you have already paid for, unless the law requires it.

We may suspend or block access to the website if you break these Terms or misuse the site.

• These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and anything we agree with you in writing about your job, are the whole agreement between you and us about the website and your booking.
• If a part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a part right away, we haven’t given it up.
• We may transfer these Terms as part of a sale or transfer of the business. You may not transfer them without our written consent.
• You agree that we may contact you electronically, by email or phone, using the details you give us, and that electronic records and your ticked agreement count as writing and as your signature.
